Just a stone's throw from Cokesbury Village is Chester County, Pennsylvania. This is an area steeped in equestrian tradition from its great selection of competitive disciplines to its more bucolic recreational offerings. It is a hub for elite equestrian athletes and hobby horse farms alike, offering a variety of training facilities and boarding stables, as well as thousands of acres of beautiful trail riding on preserved land. Kailey Herlihey is a horse trainer specializing in trauma-informed horsemanship. She has trained in horsemanship training techniques for 17 years and has had the opportunity to learn from some of the world's top horsemen and equestrian athletes. Recently, she was part of an equine-assisted therapy practice in Lancaster, where horses played a key role in counseling and trauma therapy. Kailey earned her bachelor's degree in theology and has a master's degree in Marriage and Family Studies. Moving from Central Florida, she has fallen in love with the Chester County area where she has chosen to raise her children and pursue her equestrian career.
